This week(still on-going) had been hectic with all the socialising as part of my own birthday celebrations.

Mon started with 2 of my OI buddies munching at Billy bombers at hereen. So happy to chat up with them on how they had been and also managed to meet another buddy unplanned. We also exchanging on BGR as usual as we are all guys..LOL…

Tues was a healthy badminton game which I stopped for last 2 years due studies. Enjoyed the company and workout. Really fun with people you enjoy being with. Smashing each other and trying to make the other guy run around the court while you are standing in the middle.

Wed was refreshing as I met up with my online friend finally. It was nice to talk to her and we found out we enjoy many similar stuff like running, reading, writing and had similar concepts on some issues. We even strolled geylang serai besar after our kopi at coffee bean. I enjoyed her company so much that if I’m not attached, I’m likely to be fighting with her other suitors (line from east the west) for her love. She has now come under the "Best Friend" min category in my list.

Thurs was filled with chit chatting with my men and women team while treating them to a good KFC,canadian pizza lunch. We celebrated success of the team for the past 9 months as we had merged with another section and they shouldered on bravely despite the odds. So proud of them. Was supposed to meet another "Best Friend" category, however, incidentally, she couldn’t make it and gave me time to take a break after a hectic 3 nights  of socialising. TQ so much.

Then came my birth day, where I received tons of sms and well-wishes from the friends whom I kept in touch, forgotten(thanks for remembering me and apologies for not calling you all for so long), call from my bro and parents who are enjoying from bangkok. Really on the high due to this.

While I was enjoying myself, my gf actually had appenditics and she went for an op and couldn’t make it back to Singapore. I only found out last night and felt so upset for not being around for her. At the back of my mind the whole day was that it’s better she forgot to call me when she reach Singapore than something bad happen to her. Alas, to my instinct, something really happened to her. Worst, I can’t even contact her now as I have no means to contact her there. Tried calling HK HQ, but couldn’t get through. Can only send her a get well card and wait in Singapore for updates. Quite useless as a bf…Sigh..Low of the week…..

Now will be meeting up with my long time friends for lunch and also my poly mates on sun. Company will lift my spirits a bit and also take off my mind off my gf’s mishap. A good end to a week of high and lows.
